Principal Penn, also known as Ms. H, joined Kindezi as an experienced middle school teacher in 2011. She was named Mr. Leeper’s vice principal in 2013 and became principal in 2014. She is a current educational leadership PhD candidate at the University of Phoenix; her undergraduate degree in political science and Spanish was earned at Spelman College and her master’s degree in elementary education was earned at the University of Phoenix. Her daughter attends Kindezi West Lake.

Prior to joining Kindezi, Ms. Wilbanks spent eight years working for various nonprofit organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, where she led students on builds all over the world, and AmeriCorp, for which she served as a literacy specialist in four Washington DC schools. She then volunteered as a homeschool teacher at Koinonia Farms before becoming a founding teacher at Kindezi. She was elevated to project-based learning coach in 2013 and vice principal in 2014. Her bachelor’s of art degree in social services was earned at William Paterson University and her master’s of pre-K to sixth grade education was earned at Liberty University.

Mrs. Echols is a founding teacher of The Kindezi School. Prior to joining the Kindezi family, she worked in Gwinnett County Public Schools and Decatur City Schools. Since Kindezi's first year, Mrs. Echols has served in a leadership capacity in various roles including Loop Lead, After School Program Director, and Mathematics Instructional Lead. Mrs. Echols' accomplishments in the classroom earned her the honor of being named Kindezi's first ever Teacher of the Year. When Mrs. Echols is not hard at work, she enjoys reading fiction novels and hanging out with her husband Joseph and her 14 year old son, Andrew.

Ms. Jeter, better known as Ms. J, joined Kindezi West Lake for the 2013-2014 school year as an ELA middle school teacher and became the school's After Hours Director the following year while continuing to teach. Prior to Kindezi, she taught in the Philadelphia School District for five years and upon her relocation to Georgia, she taught with Fulton County Schools. Ms. J attended Spelman College where she received her undergraduate degree in English and attended graduate school at Arcadia University for a masters in education. Her oldest son is a fifth grader at West Lake and her other two sons will officially join Kindezi in 2016 and 2019.
